You are responsible for obtaining the relevant travel documentation including a valid passport and necessary visas or permits at the commencement of travel. All such documentation is the sole responsibility of the client. bookingceylon.com is not responsible or liable in any way if you have not obtained the relevant documents prior to traveling such as visa, local driving license permits and any if not stated in itinerary. bookingceylon.com accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for the failure of clients to obtain appropriate documentation. Please note that several countries now require that your passport be valid for up to six months after the completion of your travel in order to be accepted by them as a valid travel document.
The Reservation voucher and/or tour itinerary furnished by bookingceylon.com shall constitute the sole contract between the company and you, the passenger.
Neither bookingceylon.com nor its partnered service providers are responsible for payment of any refund for unused transports, accommodations or meals as a result of late arrival or non-arrival by passenger(s), regardless of the cause.
Hotels will provide accommodation to the person under whose name the reservation was made (lead passenger), and to accompanying persons as per the exact amount of adults and children booked into each room. The lead passenger must be present at the time of check-in.
Other services except hotel accommodations are handling trough the relevant marketing person or agent and all clients are advised to discuss and finalize all necessities prior travelling. Changes request afterwards are not recommended and not guaranteed. bookingceylon.com holds no responsibility or liability anything except it is mentioned either in tour itinerary or reservation voucher.
Amendments can be made to any booking subject availability prior to the cancellation deadline and any amendments after the deadline will invite cancellation charges as indicated in the cancellation policy.
The following policies shall apply to any and all bookingceylon.com and bookings cancellations. We strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance to provide you with coverage for unexpected developments that may cause you to either cancel your holiday entirely or interrupt your vacation unexpectedly. International and Domestic Flight delays or cancelled will consider as No-Show and cancellation charges may apply,
All cancellations must be advised in writing (by fax, e-mail or client portal in web) to bookingceylon.com prior to your intended stay and must be received by the stated cancellation deadlines during normal business hours (9:00 am to 5:00pm local time – +5.30 GMT, Mondays through Fridays).
All cancellation fees will be calculated on the total amount of products and services purchased. No refunds will be made for guests who are “no shows” and who departs early, or who have improper documentation.
Guests who cancel within 60 days prior to arriving for any reason, including medical reasons, will be subject to the following cancellation fees:
60 days Eligible to receive a full refund less the non-refundable bank processing fee US $75.00
59 – 43 days 15% of Total Charges
42 – 31 days 25% of Total Charges
30 – 15 days 40% of Total Charges
14 – 8 days 65% of Total Charges
Less than 7 days and Non-appearance / no written notice 100% of Total Charges
This Cancellation policy is General but some tours/hotels/taxis may have different cancellation policies in which case bookingceylon.com will advise these policies at the time of booking confirmation.
* Shifting of booking date and change of names with cancellation period will be considered as cancellation and charges may apply according to cancellation band.
Notification shall be deemed to have taken place on the date of receipt of such written notification by bookingeylon.com. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that any notification of cancellation is received by bookingceylon.com.
When details of the cancellation penalty are not specified; it is the responsibility of the Agent or client to obtain clarification from bookingceylon.com prior to making bookings.
The failure by bookingceylon.com to exercise the cancellation period does not signify a waiver of the right to charge such cancellation charges.
We also reserve the right to cancel reservations after confirmation, if payment is not received as per the due date mentioned on our billing invoice.

If you have a booking for any of our products or services, including accommodation and tour packages, but you do not show up to check-in, or otherwise do not avail yourself of such product or service, you will not be entitled to any refund from us.
No refund is made for unused travel services or any portion thereof, nor is the price or value of unused travel services exchangeable for alternative arrangements. The day of departure is excluded when calculating cancellation or change fees.
If the clients have a complaint regarding any arrangements or services whilst in the hotel, clients must immediately notify the hotel of the services in question and log a report during their stay. If the complaint regarding any other services such as vehicle, guide or any services, client must immediately inform to the relevant marketing officer/ Agent and notify it in feedback form. In the event of a complaint or claim for compensation, you agree to inform us by email, or facsimile in writing within 7 days from the end of your tour.
Relevant receipts and substantiating evidence must be attached to the letter of claim. bookingceylon.com will not be liable for any claims made later than 7 days since the completion of your tour.
bookingceylon.com will not be liable to pay any compensation unless we get written confirmation from the Hotels if the complaint made against a hotel. For any complain clients made in written, bookingceylon.com will have a proper inquiry and will acting accordingly to give best service to clients.
You are not entitled to any refund, compensation or payment except as otherwise provided in this Section. Refunds will be made directly to your bank if you booked through bookingceylon.com, or to your travel professional if that’s how you made and paid for your reservation.
Where cancellation and/or alteration fees have been applied any outstanding amount will be due for refund to you. Refunds must be requested in writing within 15 days of the date of your intended stay. Once this period has passed, no refunds will be made. No claims would be entertained after a refund is processed.
bookingceylon.com is not responsible for any refunds that your travel professional fails to reimburse.
The due refund will be made back to the original payee through a bank transfer less the bank processing fee. If payment was received from your travel agent, the refund will be provided back to that travel agent.
In no event shall bookingceylon.com be liable for any for delays, accidents, losses, changes of schedules, damages, (whether direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or otherwise) arising out of, or in any way connected with, the use of or inability to use this web Site or for any information, software, products, or services obtained through or otherwise in connection with this web Site, in each case regardless of whether such damages are based on contract, tort, strict liability, or other theories of liability.
If any provision of this agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law by any court of competent jurisdiction, the other provisions of this agreement will remain in full force and effect. Any provision of this agreement held to be invalid or unenforceable, including but not limited to the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations set forth above, will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision.
bookingceylon.com and/or its suppliers cannot assume liability for any loss, damage or injury of any nature in whole or in part resulting from an Act of God or any other Force Majeure condition including without limitation: fire, volcanic eruption, environmental pollution or contamination, inclement weather, earthquake, flood, water or power shortages or failures, tropical storms or hurricanes, riots or civil commotions or disturbances and any other acts of similar nature, sabotage, arrests, restraints of rulers or peoples, expropriations, acts of terrorism, war, insurrection, quarantine restrictions, government health advisories or warnings or alerts of any kind or nature, government seizures, refusal or cancellation or suspension or delay of any government authority or any license, permit or authorization, damages to its facilities in or any other factor unforeseen by bookingceylon.com. that impacts negatively on or hampers its ability to fulfill any of its contractual conditions. In the event that any of these conditions apply, bookingceylon.com. shall be excused, discharged or released from its performance to the extent such performance is so limited or prevented, without liability of any kind.
No contract will exist between you and bookingceylon.com for the sale by it to you of any product unless and until bookingceylon.com receives full payment for the services and confirm it in writing by an email to you.
Acceptance will be deemed complete and will be deemed to be effectively communicated to you for all purposes at the time that bookingceylon.com sends the email to you whether or not you receive the email.
You agree to indemnify bookingceylon.com and keep it indemnified against all actions, claims, costs, demands, damages or liability arising in any manner from a breach by you of the terms of this agreement.
These Terms and Conditions contain the entire agreement between bookingceylon.com and the Client and supersedes any prior understandings or agreements (whether oral or written) regarding the subject matter and may not be amended or modified unless expressly agreed by bookingceylon.com in writing.
bookingceylon.com reserves the right to modify or rescind the terms and conditions in whole, or in part at any time with or without notice.
All disputes arising out of the aforementioned terms and conditions shall be subject to the laws of Sri Lanka and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Sri Lanka.
I (we) agree to the above Terms & Conditions and fully understand the contents thereof. In addition, I (we) have read and fully understand and agree to the Cancellation and Refund Policies of bookingceylon.com and all the terms and provisions specified in
the bookingceylon.com booking contract.
